Few Important Tips:
- Get creative and make flavored ice cubes with the basil, or fresh serranos!
- Swap the store-bought pineapple juice for fresh! The fresh pineapple is sweeter, so you may not even need to add the agave!
- You can offer different garnishes like sprigs of mint or rosemary so your guests can customize their margaritas!
What you’ll need:
(The full list of ingredients and tools are listed in the recipe but here are a few favorite brand-specific items that are personal faves!)
- Organic Pineapple Juice from Whole Foods is my favorite! (Sometimes I use Pineapple Ginger)
- Casamigos Blanco Tequila is my personal choice but use any silver tequila you like
- Margarita Glasses
- A pitcher with a lid
- A Muddler
What is the Best Tequila for a Pineapple Margarita?
For the perfect Pineapple Margarita every time, I like to use Casamigos Blanco tequila! Blanco tequila has a clean, crisp agave flavor with subtle peppery notes – it really lets the sweetness of the pineapple shine!
Can I Make a Pitcher of Serrano Pineapple Margaritas Ahead of Time?
Absolutely! For a big party or even a small gathering, you can easily make margaritas in advance! Combine all the ingredients (minus the club soda) into a big pitcher, cover and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve! All your guests have to do is pour themselves a drink in a salt-rimmed glass over ice, and top it off with a splash of club soda.

Hi Palak, thank you for the lovely recipe, about to make it, but noticed that in the method the first line says 48oz of tequila whereas the actual total tequila in the ingredients is 16 oz. I take it you probably meant 4 oz?
