Few Important Tips
- Paneer is a non melting soft Indian cheese often used in many South Asian recipe and is readily available in South Asian grocery stores like Patel Brothers. I’ve also bought Paneer from groceries like Whole Foods & Wegmans.
- I prefer to use Gopi Paneer, I find that it is soft and always tastes fresh.
- Diaspora Spice Co. is a great place to shop for small batch, single origin spices that are sourced directly from farmers in India.
- Kasoori Methi (dried fenugreek leaves) are essential to the flavor of Paneer Bhurji, so do not skip it! It’s the key to making it taste “restaurant quality”!
