So, today I’m sharing my best Indian-fusion Instant Pot Turkey Chili (with Chipotle Crema) – it’s the perfect “spicy” to warm you from the inside out! This ground turkey chili with beans, marinara sauce, vegetable broth and spices is loaded with great textures and flavors all in one bowl and garnished with a cool, chipotle sour cream mixture. It’s incredible!

- This classic chili recipe can easily be doubled if your instant pot is large enough.

- This chili can be made in the slow cooker, simply follow the first 2 steps in a skillet before adding the rest into the crock pot. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Top the finished bowls with the chipotle crema.
How Do I Thicken Turkey Chili?
The best way to thicken your chili in the Instant Pot (or InstaPot) is: 1) Make sure you drain the canned beans thoroughly; and 2) Simply let the chili cook a little longer. It will continue to thicken as it cooks and, for that matter, as it cools down.

If your turkey chili has too much heat for you, simply add in more neutral ingredients like beans, tomato or marinara sauce, vegetable broth, or add in a splash of sweetness (sugar or honey) or acid (lemon juice or vinegar).
